Who it is suitable for
ADHEAR can be used for chronic or temporary conductive hearing loss, both unilaterally and bilaterally.
Pure conductive hearing loss:
- malformations (e.g. atresia)
- radical cavity
- chronic inflammation
- cholesteatoma
- tympanosclerosis
- no benefits from conventional hearing aids
- conductive hearing loss with normal inner ear function

Bone conduction hearing system
The ADHEAR system consists of an adhesive adapter and an audio processor.
- 1
Adhesive adapter
The adhesive adapter is placed on the skin behind the ear and the audio processor is connected to it with a simple click. - 2Audio processor
The audio processor picks up sound waves, converts them into vibrations and passes them on to the bone via the adhesive adapter.
- 3Bone conduction
The sound information reaches the inner ear through bone conduction and can be processed there. Thus, ADHEAR helps to overcome existing conductive hearing loss.
The Benefits for Your Patients

Finally, I can hear high tones again, like the chirping of crickets. ADHEAR also makes conversations so much easier for me. I‘m so glad that I can hear everything again with this technology.

ADHEAR helped me enormously after my eardrum injury – with ADHEAR I could hear much better on the affected ear, which made my everyday life much easier.
