ADHEAR

Who it is suitable for

ADHEAR can be used for chronic or temporary conductive hearing loss, both unilaterally and bilaterally.

Pure conductive hearing loss:

  • malformations (e.g. atresia)
  • radical cavity
  • chronic inflammation
  • cholesteatoma
  • tympanosclerosis
  • no benefits from conventional hearing aids
  • conductive hearing loss with normal inner ear function
ADHEAR

Bone conduction hearing system

The ADHEAR system consists of an adhesive adapter and an audio processor.

  • 1

    Adhesive adapter
The adhesive adapter is placed on the skin behind the ear and the audio processor is connected to it with a simple click.

  • 2
    Audio processor

The audio processor picks up sound waves, converts them into vibrations and passes them on to the bone via the adhesive adapter.

  • 3
    Bone conduction

The sound information reaches the inner ear through bone conduction and can be processed there. Thus, ADHEAR helps to overcome existing conductive hearing loss.
